Enlightenment is experiencing the Zeno effect.

When intervals become infinite, the time become zero! Our inner reality is constant or constant emptiness. Jesus replied that there will be no time when you enter the kingdom of god, upon asking about the characteristics of the kingdom of good. Photo credit : Resonance science foundation.

Osho described that a human being is best represented as quantum or quanta.

With research on quantum state gone much ahead in last 30-40 years, I can say that Zeno effect is experienced by a human being during enlightenment.

If you divide life of a human being in infinite intervals than the human being too is not growing or if such zero moment could be experienced than we can remain in a constant state forever. This is our natural state, as mystics said.

In my opinion as per my experience I can state that the Quantum entanglement with existence happens during Zeno effect, or to let the entanglement happen it attains Zeno effect state momentarily to do so. Because in that moment it gets connected to infinite, and becomes infinite for a moment to get transformed forever.

Enlightenment is nothing but experiencing the Zeno effect in body, and your soul get entangled with the infinite. In normal atom it is reversible but in human being it is irreversible.

The mirror neurone May be responsible for this entanglement or the mirror neurone gets fired due to entanglement.

This is why just by living near an enlightened person, you too can experience the Zeno effect. And Osho too says that I am talking to create a situation so that during the gaps you may attain the state of silence from where I am speaking to you.

Once you get enlightened than only you can do further experimentation in this field. A far greater understanding of system, that the atom is going to experience, is needed and that is possible only by experiencing it yourself.

The path to experience the Zeno effect passes through prayer or meditation. However living near a person who has attained this state is of great help because we all are good conductors of electricity and a spark could bridge the gap between the two conductors or due to magnetic effect of field around such person an induced current could flow in another.

Enlightenment happens when no-mind state coincides with no-ego state. We can only create situation (here the through archery this situation is created) to let no-mind state reach deeper and deeper into our being or more intense no-mind states. Since we are meditating so it is impossible for us to leave ego or become ego less on our own. So it can only happen.

The presence of a living enlightened one just helps in getting the moment of no-ego earlier. Remaining authentic and involving with totality in activities during our life near the enlightened one helps in receiving the much needed spark from the other living in Zeno effect state.

OSHO gave example of Zeno’s brilliance in his talks :

About Archery Osho says:

Osho: When the archer takes his bow and arrow and aims at the target there are three things: THE ARCHER – the most fundamental and basic thing, the source, the innermost –

Then there is the ARROW which will pass from the archer to the TARGET, and

Then there is the bull’s-eye, the TARGET – the farthest-away thing.

If you hit the target you have touched the farthest, you have touched the periphery. You have to touch the source. You can become technically expert in hitting the target but that is not much if you are trying to get into deeper waters. You are an expert; you are a man of knowledge, but not a man of knowing.

The arrow moves from you but you don’t know from WHAT source the arrow moves, with what energy. How does it move? Who is moving it? You don’t know that; you don’t know the ARCHER. Archery you have studied, the target you have achieved, a hundred percent perfect was your aim, at a hundred percent perfection level you have become efficient – but this is about the target. What about YOU? What about the ARCHER? Has anything happened in the ARCHER? Has your consciousness changed a little bit? No, nothing has changed. You are a technician; you are not a real artist.

TAOIST say that the real thing is to see the source from where this aim comes, from where this arrow takes the energy. Who is it who has succeeded? What is the energy? What kind of being is hidden behind you? That is the real target. If that is the target and sometimes you miss the outer target, nothing is wrong.

It is said about a great archer in Japan that he always used to miss his target. He was the greatest master but he was never able to aim rightly. He never succeeded, not for a single time in his whole life. But he was known all over Japan as the greatest master. His mastery was of a totally different kind. He had penetrated into the source, he had made the TARGET his CENTER.

The periphery is not the point. You may succeed or you may fail, but that is not the point at all. The real thing is: have you succeeded in getting CENTERED in your being? Has THAT target been achieved?

To succeed with the outer target is masculine energy, to succeed with your inner source is feminine energy. To succeed with the outer source you have to be aggressive, ambitious, concentrated, attentive, outgoing, extrovert – the arrow will be going out, will be going farther away from you. It will be moving away from your being. The arrow will be going into the world.

To move into your center one needs to be feminine, passive. inactive, non-doing, non-interfering, wu-wei, meditative. Meditation, relaxation, not concentration, is needed. One has to relax oneself completely and utterly. When you are not doing anything, then you are at your center; when you are doing something you have gone away. When you do too much you are too far away. Coming closer means that you are dropping your activities, you are learning how to be inactive, you are learning how to be a non-doer.

Awareness meditation is the way worked for me, may be you too find it suitable otherwise Dynamic meditation is for most of the people. There are 110 other meditation techniques discovered by Indian Mystic Gorakhnath about 500years before and further modified by Osho that one can experiment and the suitable one could be practiced in routine life.

This is an opportunity for learning and knowing Osho through these sannyasins who lived in his presence and brought to life his words in best possible quality in all formats.

Disciples of Jesus left him alone in last minutes but Osho’s disciples remained with him till he left his body willingly after working, till last day, for all of us to get enlightened. Jesus tried hard till last minute, before being caught, to teach meditation to his disciples. As per Saint John’s Gospel:- Jesus used word ‘Sit’ to transfer his meditative energy to them and went on to pray God, but on returning he found them sleeping. He tried two times again but in vain.

Even today Zen people use word ‘Sit’ for meditation in their saying ‘Sit silently, do nothing, season comes and the grass grows by itself green’.
